Uhm Jung Hwa thinks she’s too old!

Singer/actress/Model/lingerie/ designer/entrepreneur Uhm Jung Hwa, who recently released D.I.S.C.O,  thinks she’s too old to be a dance singer on SBS’s “Ya Shim Man Man”!!

She started crying while she stated “After my previous album, I took a short break. During that time, I thought hard about how an aging female singer should do her music. I felt that I shouldn’t release any more albums.” She also stated, “I was finding my place as an actress, and the people around me said ‘You don’t need to release any more music’. When I heard that, though, I felt so bad.”

Uhm Jung Hwa decided she can’t give up singing just yet! “Although a music career makes me really busy, I feel very passionate about it and I can’t forget the love that I received from my fans. Also, after hearing my old songs, I missed taking the stage.”

Lee Hyori was mentioned by the “seasoned” performer as well: “Lee Hyori is 30 (in Korean age)now, but everyone’s already giving her pressure due to her age.”

Uhm Jung Hwa also mentioned how lonely she felt while doing music. Uhm Jung Hwa is now 38(in Korean age)… but in American age she’s 37.

I think Uhm Jung Hwa is a great person. If she wants to pursue singing then go ahead! If she thinks she should quit only cause of old age i don’t think so. I know this days they hire a lot of young people, but hey check out Maddona she’s 50 right now and still performing! I think she should go for it!
